The BATTLE OF SOUTH EAST was by far the Best game of the Season as the George Ellul Cup could have gone to either team. The game started well for South F.C. as Ste Daley & George Eldridge put South F.C two goals up. East F.C responded well with goals from Eden Cummins, Kieran Wynne and Padraig Biggane. After half time Kieran Wynne scored again for East F.C and the Cup looked to be heading their way. With Fifteen minutes remaining, Darren Wynne got South F.C back in the game and in the dying moments Ste Daley levelled the game. Extra time provided chances for both sides but no more goals and a penelty shoot out was to come. Both sides scored eight peneltys each before Greg Lawrence saved Fran Egans penelty and Sean Murphy then fired home.
