CONGRATULATIONS lads on becoming the first League Champions in the 11 a-side format.

A great 3-2 win over second place Kirkham in the league Play off Title decider has seen us crowned league champions.

A fantastic season has seen us not only play some terrific football but work hard and grow as a team as well.

Winning both the League and Cup is a tremendous DOUBLE winning season and we deserve to be CHAMPIONS.

Well done boys. Enjoy it !!!!!!!!

Hogan Cup Final Victory

CONGRATULATIONS LADS FOR TONIGHTS WIN IN THE HOGAN CUP FINAL.

A convincing 3-0 win over Lytham saw us lift the Hogan Cup in the first final played at Bloomfield in the 11 a-side format.

All the squad were superb and all played there part on the day. I believe we are worthy Champions after the football we have played as a team all season.

Well done boys for all your hard work and effort.

A great day finished off with a brilliant and thouroughly desreved win.

Congratulations again.

Sunday, 26th April 2009
Next game of the season Hogan Cup Final.

The next game of the season is the Hogan Cup Final on Sunday May 3rd.

The game takes place at Bloomfield Road where we will face Lytham Juniors.

Lytham have been our main rivals for the past couple of seasons so it is fitting that we should come up against them in the first Cup Final in the 11 a side format.

All previous games we have played count for nothing as anything can happen in a Cup Final.

Lets hope we continue with the way we have played all season and if we give 100% on the day I'm sure we can come away with the right result.

League Play-Off game date

The date for the league title decider has been annouced.

The game will take place on Wednesday 6th May and the venue is Lytham Acadamy's senior pitch. ( Next to Parkview playing field )

A great game is in prospect for the climax of the league format as we have been on top of the league for the whole season apart from the opening week where we have been closesly persued by our opponents Kirkham.

This is a testiment to the lads as we are challenging on all fronts with the Hogan Cup Final taking place just three days before at Bloomfield Road.

We can now look forward to a big week of football and two great occasions for the boys.

Lets hope we can come away with the right results as the lads deserve nothing more with the way they have played this season.

Outcome of the league meeting

The leauge have strangely decided for the under 11's A league to only play one round of fixtures this season.

The decision is made even more of a strange one as the under 11's B leauge and both under 12's A & B leagues will all play a third round of games.

Monday, 30th March 2009

There will be a league meeting on Wednesday 1st April with all of the teams managers to  vote on whether we will play a third round of fixtures.

Latest League News

Todays league game away to Fleetwood Sunday 22nd March 2009 was the final fixture of the season if it turns out that all teams will only play each other twice one at home and one away.

This would mean that are previous two fixtures Fleetwood at home and Wyre at home would be void as they were offically third round fixtures.

Our final points total for the season would be 54 meaning that Kirkham have to win their remaining one fixture (Wyre away) to finish on 54 points also.

This would mean a one off play off game to decide the title.

We should hopefully know by Friday 27th March if third round fixtures and results are to be honoured and for them to continue.
