PREMATURE AND OF SEASON FOR UNLUCKY HANNAH
Our Open Age Ladies team were playing in away at Salford Ladies this weekend and it was a game our goalkeeper Hannah Anyon won’t forget after she sustained a double fracture of a leg whilst making a save. She was taken to Hope Hospital in Manchester where she underwent surgery before being allowed home four days later. The game had to be abandoned with 22 minutes remaining and this awful injury brought a premature end to the season for unlucky Hannah. Her brother Joe, an ex-Lytham Juniors player, is the first team goalkeeper for Port Vale
