ANOTHER TOTAL FREEZE-OUT
There would normally have been no fixture list issued on this particular weekend. Junior football usually has a 2-week break at Christmas but due to all the bad weather since the start of November which had caused a massive accumulation of postponed games, the committees of the PDP 7-a-side League and the Sunday Youth League decided to put fixtures out. Unfortunately though, following another week of freezing weather pitches remained as frost-bound as they had been the week prior to Christmas and again, every scheduled game was called off. What a nightmare!
