Bordesley started brightly against a very good St Leonards side and had a perfectly good goal ruled out after 20 mins with a great strike from Lee Harris. St Leonards took the lead with their first shot on target with a very soft deflected goal. Half-time 0 - 1 to St Leonards. With the windy conditions Bordesley found it difficult to get out of their own half in the second period and St Leonards doubled their lead from a poor kick out from Rob Bell. With the game now going end to end and some strong challenges from both sides St Leonards sealed the match with a well taken goal with 15 mins to go.
