Match Report

On a poor pitch the game started fairly even with both sides missing a couple of chances each. Bordesley went ahead through Neil Bagshaw after the half hour and just about deserved their lead. Norton nabbed a goal just before half-time to make it 1 - 1 at the break. The 2nd half started much like the 1st until Bordesley took the lead again with a fine well taken goal from Neil Bagshaw with his 2nd of the game set up by Tyrone Griffiths. Bordesley were now in control of the game and added a 3rd through James Cartwright who collected the ball on the halfway line and ran clear to round the keeper and slot the ball home.

A great team performance against a strong Norton side. Our new signings fitted in well for the team and produced some good football on a very poor pitch.
