Top Marks!!
7th June 2010
Thanks to everybody who helped run the line last season. Referees give marks to each club linesman after each game. We finished in the top 5, which is a fantastic achievement.
We also finished top of the fair play league, with only 3 bookings all season. We have done really well in cutting down on our moaning to referees, which is where most of our bookings traditionaly come from. Complaining to refs not only makes it less likely we will be awarded an official for home games in the future when the league are short of refs - it also wasted valuable time on the pitch when you could be getting back in to position!
